We are very excited to be on our way to Portage this summer! Our Northern Roots Hockey School 2026 will have a 1.5 hour on ice session daily. Each session will include power skating, goalie specific training, puck skills, battles, small area games and a scrimmage.

​

Our Head Coach for the week Boe Leslie grew up in Carman, Manitoba. Following his years with the Portage Terriers, he played Division 1 at Union College of the NCAA and then went on to 8 years playing professionally in Europe. He has been working full time in hockey development for 20 years.

 

After 4 great years of the Morden Hockey School, Northern Roots Hockey is expanding in Manitoba! We are thrilled to be coming to Portage and Waskada this summer!
