• Boe Leslie - former player Division I Union College, 8 year European professional, 15 years working full time in hockey development

We are thrilled to have been invited back to be the incredible hockey community of Healy, Alaska!!!!

​

Our Northern Roots Healy Hockey School includes 3 on ice sessions for our 2 youth groups. They consist of power skating, goalie specific training, pucks skills, battles and small area games.

​

We have all players split by both age and skill level into on ice groups. We place players in small groups to put them in the best position to improve, develop and thrive.

​

Our intention is to have 8U/10U and 12U players in one group and have 14U and 18U in another.

Depending on registrations, there is the possibility that we would change the groups slightly.

We will contact you directly if your player would be moved from one group to another.

​

A Northern Roots Hockey School jersey is included for our youth groups.

​

Our Queens Women's Group will have one 2 hour session. We will work on team concepts and systems such as break outs, neutral zone transitions and power play.
